This week we hear about some of the ground-breaking work happening at the Patient Recruitment Centre (PRC), based at the Bradford Institute for Health Research, here at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Earlier this year, the PRC recruited the first participants in Europe for two new clinical trials investigating innovative potential treatments for respiratory conditions.
We hear from Professor Dinesh Saralaya, Director of the PRC, Bradford, about how the trials will bring new treatments for those suffering with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in our community.
We also hear from Anthony Eyre, one of the participants, about why he volunteered to be part of the trial.
