Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has confirmed that Computacenter will be the headline sponsor for its ‘We Are Bradford Awards’, taking place on Thursday 22 October.
The annual awards feature nine categories and recognise people working at the NHS Trust who have gone above and beyond to help patients, community members and colleagues.
This year’s celebration will take place at the Cedar Court Hotel. The awards give people an opportunity to show their appreciation to those who embody the ‘We Are Bradford’ themes: Improve, Sustain and Belong.
Computacenter’s sponsorship will also cover the Trust’s Long Service Awards, which will take place on the same day and recognise people who have worked in the NHS for 30 years or more.
The annual event attracts sponsorship from a range of supporters. This year, the Trust has reached an agreement with Computacenter to become the headline sponsor. Computacenter is a leading independent technology and services provider.
Professor Mel Pickup, Chief Executive of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said:
I am thrilled to announce that Computacenter has agreed to be our headline sponsor for the ‘We Are Bradford Awards’, as well as supporting our Long Service Awards. This is a significant contribution that will allow us to rightly recognise those who have delivered exceptional care, those who work behind the scenes and those who help make our Trust more inclusive so that colleagues can thrive. I am hopeful that this will be the first of many awards that Computacenter is involved in. Thank you for your generous support.
Phil Pearson, Public Sector Director at Computacenter, commented:
We’re proud to support Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as the headline sponsor of the ‘We Are Bradford Awards’. This partnership reflects our commitment to working alongside the Trust to recognise the people who make such a meaningful difference every day, from those delivering exceptional care to those providing vital support behind the scenes. We’re delighted to help celebrate their dedication, achievements and long service.
Whether through outstanding care, unwavering support, championing inclusion or working tirelessly behind the scenes, the awards will give the Trust a chance to shine a spotlight on those who go the extra mile.
