Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is launching its first Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club, creating a welcoming space for serving personnel, veterans, reservists, military families and supporters from across the Bradford district.
The inaugural Breakfast Club will take place on Friday, 31 July from 10am until noon at the Friends and Family Café on Horton Wing, St Luke’s Hospital and is free to attend.
The event aims to bring together members of the Armed Forces community in an informal and friendly environment, offering an opportunity to meet others with shared experiences, build new connections and learn about support services available locally.
Following its launch, the Breakfast Club will become a regular monthly event, taking place on the last Friday of every month.
The Trust has recently been reaccredited as Veteran Aware, formally recognising its continued commitment to the Armed Forces community. It first achieved accreditation in 2023 from the Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance (VCHA), which is a group of NHS healthcare providers in England.

Whether you are currently serving, have previously served, are a reservist, a military family member or simply wish to support our Armed Forces community, you will be very welcome to join us.
We hope the Breakfast Club will become a valued opportunity for people to connect, access support and enjoy good company over a cup of tea or coffee.
The Breakfast Club forms part of the Trust’s ongoing commitment to supporting veterans and the wider Armed Forces community as a proud Veteran Aware organisation.
No booking is required and people are welcome to drop in at any point during the event.
