This week we’re sharing a round-up of stories from across the Trust in February.
We started the month by celebrating National Apprenticeship Week, highlighting how apprenticeships here at the Trust help people develop essential skills, gain hands-on experience and progress towards fulfilling careers.
Then we learnt more about the early success of Student Supported Services – a new and innovative student placement model that empowers placement students to turn their ideas into meaningful, lasting services that support patients, strengthens teams and enhances care across wards.
On the podcast this month Mel met with Dr Merry Hill, Cancer Psychologist and Mandy Blackburn, Breast Care Nurse to hear how the Trust supports patients with the psychological impact of a cancer diagnosis and supports them through their cancer journey.
