Justine Andrew, a former partner at KPMG, has today (1 October) joined Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a new non-executive director on the Trust’s board.
Bringing with her over 25 years of experience in the public sector, Justine was UK Head of Education Skills and Productivity as well as a partner at professional services firm KPMG. She led KPMG’s work with some of the largest education providers nationally as well as being at the forefront of their work in the skills space.
As well as her Bradford role, Justine is a Trustee of York Museums Trust and was, until summer 2022, Senior Independent Governor at Leeds Trinity University.
Justine Andrew commented on her appointment:
My career started in Bradford, and I am delighted that I have an opportunity to take on this role at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as I believe in delivering the best for the communities we serve and giving back to the city and district.
I know locally, work has been ongoing in developing a strong place-based partnership, which demonstrates the power of collaborative working. I know working together across the public sector has a direct impact on the economic development of our place which is something I am passionate about. I look forward to supporting the work we are doing with our partners and to continue our Trust’s significant contribution in this space.
Sarah Jones, Chair for Bradford Teaching Hospitals, said:
I look forward to welcoming Justine to the Trust and working with her. As an advocate for place-based working, I want us all to benefit from Justine’s skills and experience to drive both our Trust and our wider collaborative working forward.
