I joined Bradford Teaching Hospitals in 2009, and am now based in the Child Psychology team working with children and young people with physical health conditions and assessing young people for autism spectrum conditions. I particularly enjoy working with families.
I have also worked in the adult section of the department (Clinical Health Psychology), with adults preparing for surgery (bariatric, digestive tract, teeth/oral and plastic).
I previously worked as a clinical psychologist at St James’s Hospital in Leeds, working within paediatric, teenage and young Adult regional cancer services.
I love spending time with my family and dogs (elderly Labrador and quirky Labra-something), I’m learning to garden and grow veg, and I love pretty much anything to do with food (as long as it doesn’t involve Brussels sprouts or offal!).
