Experience and clinical interests: Philip completed his primary medical training at the University Aberdeen before undertaking Core Surgical training in East Angela (Norwich). He then moved to West Yorkshire to undertake his radiology training. He started in Bradford in 2015 as a Cardiothoracic Radiologist, with specialist interests in heart and lung imaging, specifically thoracic oncology imaging and intervention and cardiac CT. Philip along with his colleague, Dr Mark Kon, runs a nationally renowned Cardiac CT course at Bradford, training the new generation of cardiac CT reporters.
Philip became Clinical Director for the Radiology and Imaging CSU in April 2025, with the goal of always trying to pursue improvements within radiology services for patients and staff.
