Pauline has worked in the NHS for over 25 years in various roles and settings, including: cardiovascular/ICU nurse, research, service development manager, clinical effectiveness lead, end-of-life care facilitator, and currently as a genetic counsellor.
She is involved in an extensive number of initiatives at the Trust, including leading on quality improvement and clinical education projects and working as a peer reviewer, and Investors in People internal verifier. She is also a member of the Trust’s Strategic Advisory Group Inclusive Leadership Committee.
Pauline is committed, proactive and has a genuine interest in making a positive contribution. She was elected as a staff governor in 2016, and passionately believes that all NHS staff must be engaged, empowered and have their views respected.
As a governor she has captured the views of staff during clinical and non-clinical operational visits, shared concerns to facilitate change and made recommendations to external experts to improve service delivery.
