I have worked for the Trust for more than two years in addition to working for over 10 years within Clinical Health Psychology in Yorkshire, specialising in cancer and palliative care.

I have further training in mindfulness, compassion-focused therapy, and systemic therapy and enjoy working within family and organisational systems.

I also co-lead a team of psychological therapists delivering clinical health psychology services to adults in the Bradford community, which provides the opportunity to influence how we improve what we do and the well-being of patients and staff as a whole community.

Although providing therapy and psychological support to people (patients, staff and families) as they face the challenges of a life-threatening illness is frequently emotional and challenging, I find the work in equal measure valuable and meaningful.
