Qualifications: MBBS, FRCR
Experience and clinical interests: After initially starting in cardiac surgery, Mark trained in MR (magnetic resonance) cardiac imaging at the Royal Brompton MR unit and completed radiology specialist training in London and Leeds. He was appointed Consultant Bradford in 2004.
He is a member of the lung cancer multi-disciplinary team and has developed cardiac CT imaging at Bradford over nearly 20 years. He maintains an interest in thoracic interventional procedures and teaching Cardiac CT at local and national level.
Mark is interested in CT technology, contrast and radiation dose reduction and leads the liaison with industry as Bradford Teaching Hospitals is the global reference site for Canon Medical’s Aquilion Prime scanner.
