I work mainly in the Bradford Community Epilepsy Service based at the Ridge Medical Centre and also in the Neuropsychology Service at St Luke’s Hospital.
I see people for individual therapy and cognitive assessments, as well as working with the epilepsy staff team. I have a particular interest in therapy for non-epileptic seizures and began working in this area in 2005, with a research job looking at how neurologists explain the diagnosis.
I qualified as a clinical psychologist in 2011, and carried an interest in neuropsychology throughout my training. I then worked for two years in the hospital neuropsychology service in Leeds and came to Bradford in 2013 to set up the Epilepsy and Seizure Psychology Service. I completed the Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology in 2015.
