Jon gained the undergraduate degree in medical physics while studying for a degree in medicine and surgery at the University of Leeds. Following a rotating appointment in the medical specialties in West Yorkshire, he went on to undertake higher specialist training in clinical radiology in Leeds, with particular focus on radionuclide radiology and PET-CT imaging.

He is the author of a number of peer reviewed articles published in international journals, and is a subspecialty reviewer for two primary clinical radiology journals in the UK.

Clinical interests: Dr Martin’s primary interest is in diagnostic radionuclide radiology and PET-CT imaging. He also has a second specialty interest in thoracic imaging, particularly thoracic oncology.
