Gail started working in the NHS in 1972 and has been a registered nurse since 1976. She has extensive experience in urgent and emergency care, trauma and orthopaedics and latterly with discharge and safeguarding.
Gail has undertaken a range of specialist practice including independent and serious case reviews. She is currently the lead nurse for the multi-agency integrated discharge team (MAIDT.)
Her interests, specialities and areas of expertise include project management, service improvement, leadership, complex discharges, promoting joint working between health and social care, continuing health care and safeguarding.
