Experience and clinical interests: Donal trained at the University of Nottingham medical school. He undertook core surgical training in Manchester in 2013 before commencing radiology training in 2015, and completed the Leeds gastrointestinal imaging fellowship in 2020. He has worked as a consultant  gastrointestinal and interventional radiologist in Bradford Teaching Hospitals Trust since 2021.
Donal is involved in all aspects of diagnostic gastrointestinal imaging in Bradford and is a core member of the colorectal, upper GI and pelvic floor MDT teams. He has a specialist interest and broad experience in non-vascular intervention including ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopy-guided procedures.
Donal is a clinical and educational supervisor, providing teaching and training to radiology trainees. He is focused on quality improvement within the department and bringing cutting edge imaging techniques to Bradford.
