I have worked in Clinical Health Psychology since 2017, and work across a number of services, including cardiac, renal, diabetes, bariatric, and other health conditions.

I help patients to better understand the relationship between their physical and mental health, and to develop coping skills in a supportive, respectful, and non-judgemental setting so that they can improve their wellbeing and quality of life.

I have a BA in Psychology, an MA in Psychology from the University of Alberta, and a PhD in Psychology from the University of British Columbia.

After I qualified in 2010, I worked for over four years in Canada as a staff psychologist at the University of British Columbia’s counselling service, working with university students with all different types of mental health concerns.

In my spare time I love being a tourist and exploring as much as I can of Yorkshire – walking trails, castles, charming little villages and towns, there is so much to see here!
