Professor Amanda Harrison commented:
“It is a pleasure to join Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which has a long-established relationship with the University of Leeds. I know from speaking to our students that come to Bradford on clinical placements, they value the experience they gain and how much they feel welcomed by colleagues working at the Trust. I also recognise the outstanding contributions that the Trust – through its research teams – makes to improving people’s health including being at the centre of ground-breaking innovations and treatments. I am looking forward to building on these existing partnerships to help the Trust deliver its vision.”
Karen Walker, Acting Chair for Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, added:
“We are delighted to welcome Professor Harrison to the Board. Her extensive experience in education, workforce planning and partnership working across health and care will bring valuable insight to the Trust. Her understanding of how education and training can support the needs of our communities will be particularly important as we continue to develop our services and support our staff.”
