I’m a Clinical Psychologist working with adults in the Cochlear Implant Service with those both pre and post implant, and the unique challenges this can bring. I work with people who have become deafened as well as those with a culturally D/deaf identity, and consider the variety of experiences and meaning across those who come through the Cochlear Implant service.
I draw from a variety of psychological theories and models in my work, particularly from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) that places peoples’ individual values at the centre.
Outside of work I love painting, and enjoy applying creativity across different aspects of my life where I can.
