Until 2025 Justine was a partner at KPMG and UK Head of Education Skills and Productivity. Justine was also Head of the University Partnership Team, leading KPMG’s engagement with universities from an industry perspective. Working across the public sector for nearly 25 years, she combines a deep understanding of public service and charitable ethos with a commercial and strategic insight.
She led KPMG’s work with some of the largest education providers nationally as well as being at the forefront of their work in the skills space. In her University Partnership role, she thought differently about how providers and employers can work together across a range of areas, developing ground-breaking partnerships.
Based in Yorkshire, Justine has a particular interest in the economic development of ‘place’ and the role of collaboration to achieve that.
As well as her Bradford role, Justine is a Trustee of York Museums Trust and was, until summer 2022, Senior Independent Governor at Leeds Trinity University. She brings significant understanding of governance, rigorous financial oversight and risk management and has written, spoken and advised on governance and the role of the non-executive in times of transformative change.
As well as working across the district at KPMG, Justine started her career in Neville Road in Bradford in the 1990s, and met her husband at Bradford Rowing club, where she was a member for many years.
