Jane Anikpe is a passionate Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with over 2 decades of clinical experience in same. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile- Ife, Osun State Nigeria, and her master’s degree in public health from the University of Central Nicaragua.
She worked in different Physiotherapy units before specialising in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy due to her deep interest in pelvic health related conditions. Jane has a good leadership track record in Pelvic health physiotherapy and believes leadership encompasses holistic clinical, managerial, and compassionate components of care to the patients, their care givers, and colleagues.
She has worked in different NHS Trusts before her present role as the clinical leader of the pelvic health physiotherapy unit of the Bradford Royal Infirmary. She attends to men and women’s pelvic health conditions in urotherapy, colorectal and musculoskeletal domains, and has a special interest in women with obstetrics anal sphincter injuries. She is working towards skills advancement in pessaries.
