Reproductive Medicine/Infertility

  • The Reproductive Medicine Unit (RMU) is located on M1 at the Women's & Newborn Unit at the BRI. There is a separate entrance to the unit, which is located to the left of the Women's & Newborn Unit entrance and is clearly sign posted.
  • The Reproductive Medicine Unit is a satellite unit of The Leeds Teaching Hospitals Reproductive Medicine Unit. This involves the majority of care for women undergoing assisted conception taking place at Bradford but some care (e.g.; egg collection and embryo transfer) will take place at Seacroft Hospital, Leeds or Jessop Wing, Sheffield. 
  • The unit has two Gynaecologists who specialise in Reproductive Medicine, three specialist nurses, an administrator and administration assistant.
  • The reproductive Medicine Unit provides NHS care to couples who fulfil the criteria/guidelines set by the local Primary care trust (PCT), Fee Pay treatment is provided at Bradford.
