The Reproductive Medicine Unit (RMU) is located on M1 at the Women's & Newborn Unit at the BRI. There is a separate entrance to the unit, which is located to the left of the Women's & Newborn Unit entrance and is clearly sign posted.
The Reproductive Medicine Unit is a satellite unit of The Leeds Teaching Hospitals Reproductive Medicine Unit. This involves the majority of care for women undergoing assisted conception taking place at Bradford but some care (e.g.; egg collection and embryo transfer) will take place at Seacroft Hospital, Leeds or Jessop Wing, Sheffield.
The unit has two Gynaecologists who specialise in Reproductive Medicine, three specialist nurses, an administrator and administration assistant.
The reproductive Medicine Unit provides NHS care to couples who fulfil the criteria/guidelines set by the local Primary care trust (PCT), Fee Pay treatment is provided at Bradford.
