Arthritis Research Campaign (ARC)

ARC is a major charity committed to finding a cure for arthritis. It raises funds to promote medical research into the cause, treatment and cure of arthritic conditions: to educate medical students, doctors and allied healthcare professionals about arthritis and to provide information to people affected by arthritis and to the general public.  It produces a wide range of patient leaflets relating to arthritis in its many forms.

Disabled Living Foundation

The Disabled Living Foundation provides free, impartial advice about all types of equipment for older and disabled people, their carers and families. It produces free factsheets on a wide range of topics and has an online tool which allows you to carry out a self-assessment to see what equipment can help you.

Lupus UK is the only national registered charity supporting people with systemic lupus erythematosis and discoid lupus. There are 30 regional groups which arrange meetings and talks as well as fundraising events and regular newsletters.

National Association for the Relief of Paget’s Disease (NARPD)

This is a national charity which offers support and information to people with Paget's disease.  It also sponsors research into the causes and treatment of this disease.
