Acute Surgery
Directorate Information
Acute surgery is a large directorate and includes acute (emergency) and planned surgical specialities and gastroenterology; dealing mainly with abdominal (stomach), arterial (blood vessels) and urological conditions. Our Digestive Disease Centre treats the whole range of gastrointestinal (digestive system) disease. Our patients have excellent outcomes from treatment and surgery, using advanced techniques, and with an excellent safety record.
