Acute Medicine
Directorate Information
The acute medicine directorate was established in April 2006 and provides acute medical care and emergency services to the people of Bradford and beyond.
Our aim is to treat all patients with respect and dignity, giving them the highest possible levels of care, in a friendly and appropriate environment. Where ever possible we aim to work in partnership with our patients to ensure the right outcome. We always try to make sure that patients and carers are fully informed and involved their treatment.
We provide an Accident and Emergency service in a purpose-built department and all our wards have recently been upgraded to a high standard.
In order to provide the best possible care to our patients all our staff have access to robust training and education facilities ensuring that they are up-to-date with advances in patient care.
