Welcome to Bradford Teaching Hospitals Ophthalmology Services!

Please note that the following protocols are in place from 13/12/2010 for referral to Acute Ophthalmology Service :

• All urgent referrals (Same day): Please telephone SHO on call (bleep 177 via BRI switchboard (01274) 542200. A Registrar is also available for urgent requests via the switchboard 24hrs a day.
• Semi-urgent (48 hrs to 1 week): Please visit our website (below) for triage advice with suggested timelines for referral, and fax a completed referral form to ward 18 (01274) 364060. The patient will be allocated an appropriate outpatient clinic appointment and contacted within 24 hours.
• Routine: Please refer the patient via ‘Choose and Book’.
