Welcome to the Foundation Membership area of our Web site.  This area is intended to help those who wish to become more involved with the Foundation Trust.  You can find out about the activities of the Foundation Trust.

Becoming a Member of the Foundation Trust is totally free and involves no time commitment.  As a Member you will have the chance to understand more about your local hospital and if you wish, become more actively involved.

All Members will:

• Receive regular quarterly information updates
• Receive an invitation to attend the foundation trust’s annual open event and AGM
• Have the opportunity to vote in elections for the Board of Governors
• Have the right to stand for election to the Board of Governors

More actively involved Members can:

• Attend 'Focus on Medicine' events
• Take part in Patient and Public Involvement activities and, consultations about the delivery of services and plans for the long-term development of the Trust
• Be invited to take part in conferences and events covering local and national NHS developments
