Undergraduate Medical Education
Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has combined the two roles of Clinical Skills Teacher and the Ward Based Teacher into the role of Clinical Educator.
This enables the Undergraduate Clinical Educators to deliver and facilitate education, on physiological system examination, history taking and clinical practical skills, not only in a Primary Care teaching environment but also in the Education Centre at Bradford Royal Infirmary and in a ward situation.
The Clinical Skills Lab based in Field House, offers facilities to aid undergraduate learning. There is a variety of manikins to enable practical skills to be developed, as well as planned teaching sessions on history taking and examination of physiological systems.
