First appointment

You will normally receive an appointment via letter however sometimes we arrange appointments at short notice and you will receive a phone call from the hospital with the details.

We invite you to bring a relative or friend with you to your hospital appointments.

Please let the team know what medications you are taking and if anything changes, this could affect any investigations or treatment you may need. It is also important to let us know if you have any allergies.

The Upper GI team is based at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

Our surgical outpatient clinics (Mr May, Mr Gokhale, Mr Halstead and Mr Needham), and our nurse led clinic take place at St. Luke's Hospital, our other outpatient clinics take place at Bradford Royal Infirmary. It will state on your appointment letter where the clinic is. If you are not sure where the department or hospital is, our interactive map may help (http://www.bradfordhospitals.nhs.uk/maps).
