Royal College of Surgeon's president visits Bradford
The Royal College of Surgeons’ President has visited Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust during a trip to the Yorkshire and Humber region.
John Black was welcomed to the Bradford Royal Infirmary by Acute Surgery Clinical Director and RCS Director for Professional Affairs for Yorkshire and the Humber, Jon Ausobsky and RCS Surgical Tutor for Bradford and consultant Colorectal Surgeon, Mark Steward.
During his visit, Mr Black was given a tour of the Field House training facilities and viewed the new clinical skills suite plans.
The group then moved to the Sovereign Lecture Theatre where they
heard various lectures on subjects ranging from ‘Lessons Learned from
the Bradford Fire’ to ‘Crossing the Rubicon: Improving surgical
training in Bradford.’
