Equality Impact Assessments
We are committed to improving our services and employment opportunities for all sections of the community. We are carrying out Equality Impact Assessments of all our policies and functions. An Equality Impact Assessment is a method of assessing whether a policy or service has an impact on equality groups.
It aims to identify any positive or negative impact on the promotion of equality on the Foundation Trust’s Equality Strands:
- Age
- Disability
- Ethnicity
- Gender
- Religion and Belief
- Sexual Orientation
Each Department has undertaken Initial Equality Impact Assessment of their Policies and Functions. These are made available here:
Acute Medicine, Specialty Medicine and Chronic Disease Management
We have carried out Full Equality Impact Assessments of those policies and functions that have the highest impact on equality groups.
