Background

Bradford Hospitals Children’s Charity has been created to enhance the facilities in the three children’s wards, the neonatal unit, the community teams, St Luke’s Outpatients and the Child Development Centre.

While the NHS provides essential medical care and basic hospital accommodation for patients, resources often don’t stretch to making the experience for patients and families quite as comfortable as it could be.

Our fundraising aims to make sure the whole experience of having an ill baby or child is as good as possible, by improving care and facilities over and above what the hospital can provide - improving the patient and family experience by buying equipment, parent facilities and enhancing the children’s wards.

We hope to make hospital stays for babies, children and parents feel shorter, more relaxing and that little bit more comfortable.
